I rarely find myself in such plebian surroundings as clubs. The incisive commentaries on the human condition of Mozart, Schopenhauer and Blake on the other hand......

I know it doesn't exactly qualify as a club, but when Kayagum Hall at the W hotel hosts big DJ (Sasha, etc.) events, it's definitely the best venue in Korea.

The space, the crowd (especially the women) and the atmosphere simply can't be beat. And if you get sick of the party, you can always run across the hall to the 24/7 casino.

Once In a Blue Moon is terrible - tepid "jazz," super swanked out smug clientle / staff, and absurd prices (Budweiser for 10,000 won?).

Yeah, man. FF rocks! It's a live music venue as well, usually with a mix of local and waegook bands. I like to catch some live music before my boogie.
