Hello All,
I would like to upgrade my home premium version to ultimate so that I can convert the platform into English. Anyone have any experience in this? Where's the best place to download the upgrade, cheapest? & how to change the language? Cheers all

Download the Vista Ultimate ISO from your favourite bittorrent site, then look for the PARADOX crack (works for 32 bit only - AFIAK you're SOL atm if you have 64bit Vista).

If this is against any board rules, feel free to delete.

Where'd you get your current Vista from?

What's the CPU in your PC?

Chances are you'd have 32bit - I don't think there's 64bit Vista Home

AFIAK you can't just "upgrade"... not 100% sure though

My suggestion -

1) Back up what you need to (documents, emails, etc etc)
2) Download VISTA Ultimate 32 bit and PARADOX crack
3) reformat and install Vista with the instructions in the crack...

I'll look to see if X64 vista is cracked the same way the 32 bit version is...

Or ask someone else, I have a headache, and any information is liable to be inaccurate...

In any case, give me a bit, I'll see what I can find

So

1) Download from the link I gave you Vista Ultimate 64bit
2) Burn it to DVD (read any documentation regarding install instructions/product keys)
3) Backup important data
4) Reformat and install from the Vista Ultimate 64 bit DVD (be sure to follow any instructions in the readme/nfo included with the download)
5) Profit

(This is only how I'd do it, as I said, you may be able to upgrade from within Windows Home Premium, you may not. I don't know that)

HTH

Cheers,
but after thinking about it - i've configured my computer too much, I really don't want to format my drive & restart from scratch - so I'm happy to download the upgrade & install from within my home premium...any ideas where I would get it from?
