Today I was doing an activity where students had to answer a question. The needed to give me a good grammatical sentence to get the best points.
There were three teams each having to say what Korean actress they would want to be if they had to be one.
One team member had stood up and was saying "I like xxxxxx because she is very pretty and nice". On the other side of the classroom, I hear a quiet voice say "but she has small breasts".
I almost started laughing in the middle of class. |

I remember back in the good ole days of middle and high school. The desk I sat at felt like it was a mile away from the teacher and that I things I whispered or said under my breath couldn't be heard.
Being on the other side now, I've come to realize that words travel better than I thought and that 99% of the time, the teachers heard everything I said and chose to ignore it. |

Another question I have been asking is what season do they like best and why?
All boys classes have given me almost always the same answer.
"I like summer, because sexy girls in bikini's".
Or similar with pretty girls being changed for sexy. They are a lot more forward with their conversation topics than I expected. |

| High school kids conversations should only be focused around 2 things. For boys...it should be BJ's and drugs. For girls...it should be giving BJ's and drugs. Anything else is unacceptable. |

This week with my first graders we are watching Mr Bean clips.
Before watching one clip where Mr Bean is packing for his holiday, I asked the students "Mr Bean has a suitcase, where is he going?
One student pipes up "He is a terrorist"

| For me, it's more like what high school students don't say. They never speak. |

This is was middle school (and younger) so sorry it's not applicable, but I wanna get it off my chest because this shit pisses me the *beep* off.
I had a chat with the class about Lee Hyo Ri and how much I like her and some douchbag (male) said he doesn't like her because of "small eyes".
Little *beep* head. |

Middle School grade 2 class.
I was doing some stuff about diversifying answers and getting the class to brainstorm different answers to "How have you been?" other than just "fine, thanks."
One students puts his hand up so I ask him, "How have you been?" His reply, "I've been luxury fine!" |

I'm asking this question tomorrow of my high school students. |

One of my high school students said he likes to eat dog.
A few seconds later, I asked him what type of dog, and the student who is sort of nerdy clarified his answer to my question by saying "street dog." |

My lastest conversation with a student was about what they would take if they were lost in the jungle.
The answer was "Knife to kill animal for food, alcohol to drink and have fun and finally a girl so he could have sex after drinking and eating".
They aren't deep thinkers. Admittedly half the class chose alcohol over water. One chose a knife, alcohol and matches, so he could light a fire, drink the alcohol and then kill himself with the knife.
I think they are going to get quite a shock when they attend survival training in the military. |

The other day I walked into a classroom and a student asked me 'teachuh, how tall are you?'
'180cm' I said, writing it on the board.
'Oh wow - you very tall. My boyfriend 190cm!' she exclaimed.
'Your real boyfriend or your pretend boyfriend?' I asked.
She paused for a moment and sighed ... 'My pretend boyfriend'. |

This week, my 2nd Grade highschool kids are drawing houses following certain instructions to find out about their personality.
One of my brightest boys showed me his house. It was very luxurious. It had an outdoor swimming pool and a football pitch aswell.
He says to me"Teacher, this is where I play nude soccer and then I run and jump in the pool when I get hot".

My Korean-American friend, at a girl's middle school, have had 3rd year girls ask or say to him:
"Teacher, how often do you watch porn?"
"Do I look sexy teacher?"
"Would you like to see me in a porno?"
"Teacher, do you want to sleep with me?"
"When I masturbate, I think of you teacher."
All in Korean, of course. Supposedly, the students have long suspected his Korean is stronger than what he lets on. He says he never answers and just chuckles. They always ask him such questions if the KT is late coming into class. I think high school girls would ask much more explicit questions. |

Me: How do you say this in English?
Girl: (looks in her cell phone dictionary) Pah-ti-shi-pay-shun.
Me: (I see the word: participation) Thank you.
Girl: (closes her phone)
Me: Can you repeat that?
Girl: (without hesitation) Pahtishipasheepah. |
