Ferg has a lot of real talent. That woman can really sing, but she tries too hard in concert and blows control sometimes. I think there's a lot of editing involved in her CDs.

Alanis can sing too, but she tends to sound the same in everything.
And it seems that Alanis is feeling her old age, and going through a bit of insecurity over it.
Fergie is just doing the same thing that Alanis was twelve years ago by capitalizing on what is popular. |

Listening to that Humps song was like watching a terrible, pile-up car crash. It was so shockingly offensive but I couldn't stop watching. I wanted to see how bad it could get. The worst part has to be the words hump and especially lumps to refer to a woman's body. How gross. It sounds like she has measles.
The video oneofthesarahs linked was even more terrible. How is it possible for Black Eyed Peas to suck so bad, you ask? It's an easy question to answer: they've always sucked. They've never produced a single song worth listening to. I've been saying for years now how artless their music is, and now I guess more people will agree. Actually, wait.. that song went to #2 on the billboard charts.
This is how GB2 got elected TWICE. Same reason this shit is allowed on the radio.. hhhhhh.. |

Most people don't realize that the BEPs have been around for over 10 years. Their second studio album, "Bridging the Gap" is a classic.
Once they brought Fergie on board and popped up their tunes (Let's Get Retarded, Where is the Love, etc.), they lost me as a fan. I was sad to see 'em go out like that. |

Yes, Fergie said in interviews she was 'having fun' with that video. But she also went on to talk about it in a way that showed she has absolutely no idea how ridiculous it was. It's the kind of thing I would expect from a school student trying to sound grown up.
