So who explains to this poor girl what's wrong with her name? Couldn't they have done it before she got her name in the International Herald Tribune?
http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/04/03/news/china.php?page=2
"A former flight attendant, she had moved from Hong Kong with her daughter Poony Poon, 10, to give her the chance to study piano at Juilliard, where she has a scholarship."
Her picture doesn't show up in the online edition, but her picture and name are on the front page of today's Herald. That reminds me, I had a Vietnamese roommate in university named Tuat. Good times. |

You should try teaching in Thailand. I used to teach Kittyporn and a Tittiporn. It was...er...kinda distracting.
Pooney Poon is quite a good 'un though. |

That's totally hilarious. Just imagine when she hits the teen years, what all the boys will be coming up with.
Mack: Any quick stories to tell? Too funny! |

Not many Tuat stories, since he only lasted two weeks at university. He was an engineering major and apparently that's really hard. His name was always good for a laugh, though, when we were all getting stoned. "Dude, your roommate's name is Tuat" would break up the room. Being 18 and stupid was fun. |

Hell yes.
Can you see it?
Live in concert: Poony Poon
1/3 of the audience would be piano lovers, 1/3 would be porn freaks who thought it was a strip show, and 1/3 would be teenagers who thought it was a hip-hop show. |

To be fair, we pick on all silly names, not just the ones that belong to gifted artists. |
