The fact is whatever iran gets Iran deserves. I hope the attack is massive, devastates the Iranian military and industrial infrastructure and kills as many of the mullahs as possible. Take out Hitlerbabba too. |

Deemed illegal by who?

They did not declare war. And who's water the boat's were in is a "he said, she said" scenario. Were they in Iraqi waters? Why are British boats in Iraqi waters?
Whatever Iran gets Iran deserves? Haha, what a one-way mirror you have there. I'm not saying that Iran is not guilty of malefactions, but if you're going to apply your wonderful list making logic...
Let's see you make a similar list of all the US transgressions over the past five years. Haven't been any? Oh, that's right, the one-way mirror thing...
And if deep in your heart you hope that America attacks Iran, then you have absolutely no understanding of the precarious situation that we've created over there. Let alone America's waning economic status, deepening debt, and overall standing in the world. I'm no fortune teller, but you can hold me to this prediction: It will not be a good thing.
Oh yeah, and I hope you're not an English teacher here because your spelling is messing some Korean kids up. |

Oh please. Are we going to play this game? because with this logic its just fine for North Korea, Iran, Syria, Libya or any number of scum pariah states to have nukes. Under whose terms? The sane nations', not he terrorist sponsoring, oppressive regimes with a hate on for the West. And oh it may be oh so unfair for Hitler wannabes not to have nukes but guess what, screw fair.

Allies of who? |
Israel is an ally of the US. It is also the ally of any democratic country on this planet. The alternative to Israel is: sharia law, terorism, intellectual dark ages, oppression. Threats against Israel are threats against anyone who claims to love democracy and freedom. Threats against Israel are made by states and organizations that hate democracy, hate freedom. Unless you are a lunatic antisemite, you cant argue with this.

See above. Do you also support nukes in the hands of NK? Al Qaeda? Libya? Syria?

Seizing soldiers is a declaration of war. Its none of Iran's business why British boats patrol Iraqi waters. Iran should worry about its own waters. Seizing British soldiers is very much a declaration of war. Its unfortunate that Blair doesnt have the balls to treat it as such.

Hey, you are free to do something about it. So is Iran...if they dare.
Did I make any spelling mistakes? |

jinju-
I'm not a leftist or a rightest. I have huge reservations when it comes to both sides (only two, how limiting) of the political system in America. I care very much about people, including people from other countries; I don't view one people as worth more than another because of their nation of birth. So, while American, I'm admittedly not very nationalistic.
I do believe most Americans are living under a limited understanding of history, ours as well as the rest of the world. Many Americans tend to view the world (and are encouraged to do so) in terms of Us vs. them, good and bad. And you can guess who are portrayed as the good guys are in our media. Well, it works the same in any country, to varying degrees.
I could take the time and point out every inconsistancy, inaccuracy, and influenced notion in your post, but you would respond in kind and in the end I will not open your thinking in any way. I'm fine with that.
And yes, there were other spelling mistakes.

Actually, there was a pretty serious usage error. But nobody takes jinju seriously, so it doesn't matter.
He does take some nice photos, though. |

I disagree.
Bush doesn't have the stones _not_ to do it. |

| This is the first I've heard about this secret US attack plan, but I have to say that it doesn't seem like a coincidence to me that these plans were released shortly after the capture of some British sailors. That' s kind of an incentive to let them go, don't you think? My guess is that some high ranking White House official called up his counterpart in Russia and said, "Hey, why don't you release a story about this leaked American attack plan? Maybe it will defuse this whole situation." I mean, really, who would an attack on Iran benefit right now? I guess we'll find out tomarrow if I'm wrong. |

We will never find out if you are wrong, it is just a guess as you stated.
It might well be the case that some high ranking White House neocon phoned up someone in Russia and said, "help us out, the Iranians are releasing the hostages. But we haven't got any good spin from it. Can you help us out and issue the attached story I'm sending you? I'll also send you some Benjamins.....".
We just don't know....that is the problem.
