See if I can recall a few:

Pocahantas
Stamp
Stick
Glory and Great (brothers whose Korean names meant these)
Stone Cold (Steve Austin)
Big Show (another WWE character)
Cloudy (I like that one)

Must be a good few more, can't recall right now.

I have a student called 'pile'. I'm not sure why.

The best nickname I ever heard was for one of my mates but he never knew he had it. He's very serious and talked forever about really boring subjects. Basically the anti-charm. So we called him Dave deep voice mcserious head. Describes him perfectly.

Hmm....as in "Gomer" or as in "pile of ****"???

As in R. Lee Ermy's punching bag in "Full Metal Jacket"? I can see why a teacher would choose that nickname for a slow student, etc.

I had a mother insist that I call her son "Bill Gates". Not William, not Billy or Bill...Bill Gates.

Hes not slow..hes a completely new student so I don't know why he would have got the name but he seems pretty smart. He does remind me of somebody, although i can't figure out who.
