They didn't have a 100M when I ordered.
I will have to find out if I can upgrade my package deal.
*beep* 10M connection I want porn so fast it makes my eyes bleed. |
won't matter anyways. It's a hypothetical maximum speed. 10 megs or 100 megs you're not downloading anything faster unless it's from within Korea with an incredible upload bandwidth. |

I got a skinny cable that runs into my megapass modem. The wire is skinny because its fiber optic and not coax.
I'm not sure if megapass LITE uses the same fiber optic line or not. But if its fiber, then its far superior to the fat coax. |

my KT megapass premium is at 50mbps. It has the ethernet cable coming from the wall to the PC. |
Meanwhile, some of us have LG Powercom and are running a 100mbps cable from the wall. |

For those of you who have 100mbit connections, I've got a few questions:
1. what sort of building are you living in? and in which city/area?
2. How much are you paying per month? On what length contract?
My understanding was that in Seoul (and possibly other cities), there is fibre running to almost every large apartment building, but that the smaller ones miss out.
I'm about to move into a new apartment, but it's in kind of a random small building, not one of the huge towers. I'd like 100mbit, but I'm not sure if it's possible. I seriously doubt that my building is cabled up. |

1: A regular 15 story apartment, north eastern Seoul.
2: 34,000 won/month, 1 year contract. (But received 150,000 won cash for signing up.) |
