Manchester United have condemned the Italian police following the violence in the Champions League tie with Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday.
"In what the club views as a serious over-reaction, local police handed out indiscriminate beatings to United supporters," said a United statement.

"The disturbing scenes shocked everyone at Old Trafford."

The poms have it coming..

I went to Italy and they always remember how english hooligans attacked women and children at games back in the 80's and 90's.

its no surprise they are a bit heavy handed with them now.

Getting your country a reputation for gratuitous violence over a ball game is not only pathetic, but deserves a good police beating whenever abroad.

Va bene!

You don't know what you're talking about, Princess. Football violence hasn't existed in England for well over a decade, Italian police are incompetent and violent thugs, and soccer hooliganism is worse in Italy than in England or indeed anywhere else. Also, by your logic, English police would be justified in violence against travelling Italian supporters because of the problems with hooliganism in Italy.

Now instead of pretending to be females online, run along and try to have sex with a real-life female. It'll be a revelation to you. You're gonna wind up the 40 year old virgin at this rate.

Is that how old UR? Football violenec is an English invention dating back far longer than 10 years. I know more about your own country than you do!

No. Because the English started it. Its a disease borne out of the boredom of living in the 2 up 2 down suburban hell that is Ingrind.

Is that what you do all day? You poor thing, you must be worn out. BTW paying 500.000W per month to the anma does not qualify as 'real life".

English heads were made to meet Italian batons.

I know it must hurt getting giggled at for years on end by Korean kids for coming from Africa. Koreans drive Hyundai - they probably think you ride tigers.

You're a very hate-driven individual, like many Christians. I can only assume this is because you have a microscopic genitalia, are incredibly bitter about being raised amongst the most vile white scum on Earth with all your Afrikaans clicking noises and are well on your way to becoming the 40 year old virgin.

Sad little African virgin - form an orderly queue, ladies. Rolling Eyes

Oh hello spin. Were you expressing a thought? In your usual incoherent philosophical way?

Ah- Tigers. India, not Africa.

Fanzini- I really think you ought to talk to Italians to know how they feel about English hooligans causing a wall to collapse on Juventus fans at heysel.

Do 'they' also remember that English hooligans didn't attack women and children, or anyone at all for that matter, during the same period?
