When you purchase an express bus ticket do you have to use it on the next available bus or is it valid for a specific period of time? I'm doing a very quick Costco run and I'm wondering if I can buy my return ticket when I arrive (before I head to Costco) or if I have to wait until I'm ready to leave Daegu. I need to take the last bus back to Busan and I don't want to get back to the Daegu bus station and find they've sold out.
Btw, anyone know how much a taxi from the express bus station to Costco should be? |

I'm 99% sure you have to use it for the time indicated on the ticket.
You can take a bus from Dongdaegu station, which is just across the street from the express bus station.
Go across the street, past the giant glass pyramid and up the stairs.
Then head to the main doors of Dong daegu station and you''ll see the bus stop right in front.
Take bus 937. It will be about 15-20 minutes to the front door of Costco. Bus fare 1,100won.
Otherwise, a taxi would be about 5,000 from the bus station.

Eh, you can walk it if you wear good shoes. |

I always wear good shoes when I'm not teaching. I doubt I'll be able to carry everything comfortably back to the bus station, though! Thanks for the info. |
