| How many people get a blank white screen when trying to search for things? This has been happening a lot to me on various computers, using various browsers in various countries. Is this something we should bring up to the MODS or is it just me? |

| The mods have no control over this and actually neither does Sperling. Though it is his responsiblity to get the phpBB boys to fix the search. Either that or migrate the board to a different board software. |

Ofcourse he has control over it. It's called asking them to do something about it, or transfering to a different platform. How are they supposed to know if Dave doesn't tell them, and then how is Dave to know unless we tell him or the mods. That is the point of this thread (and making sure it's just not a problem with me).
BTW, I have a degree in computer science and have designed and worked on systems far more complicated than this. |

| I find that if your search includes two words, usually you're OK. But if you try to push it to that third word, you get the frozen white screen. |

agreed, keep it simple and search through the thousand replies you get or don't even bother. |
