Had the biggest debate today with Leaf fans after the game...the kept on going on saying Brodeur is playing, dont want to go in to the playoffs on a losing streak blah blah blah...or you can have him play a meaningless game and he may get injured!
I count NYI out on one reason alone...Cashin...Errr...Yashin...but then i count them in on one reason alone...Mr.Smyth!
Should be a good game. I tell ya what though Sarcasm...it would be nice to see the Leafs get in only to have their hearts ripped out of their chest by Buffalo! That team is going to the Conference finals IMO...either way, just a few more days lads...

1-0 Isles after 2, no Broduer and the goal is scored by the only KOREAN born player in the NHL.

It's Brodeur, he's French not German. Any hockey fan should know how to spell the name of one of the goalie greats of all time.

And Richard Park, yeah born in Seoul, raised in Southern California, neither fact conducive to an NHL career but he has done it, and attributes his family's emphasis on hard work as a key to his success. Park scored two very important game-winning goals for the Wild when Minnesota went on a surprising playoff run. he is known to raise his game and has scored several clutch goals. He scored a key goal to win yesterday's game, and he has scored two goals today.

Bit of a scare, but the bad guys lost in the end... Isles are in.

Richard Park should be celebrated Hines Ward style.

National hero he is.

The Islander Ice Girls are the best part of Islander Hockey. They're the only reason to visit that crap hole the Nassau Coliseum.

Then they are just being stupid.

Even under the old overtime tie system the Leafs STILL miss the playoffs.

Montreal has a couple of more wins and the Isles have less losses, so the Leafs would have had less points and been out of the playoffs, not even as close as they are now with the new shootout after overtime format.
