I feel your desperation. When I was in Korea I travelled to Seoul with the ummm sole intention of finding that sort of thing. Headed to Itaewon and went to the Turkish restaurant next to the mosque. Was sorely disappointed by the hoummous. Now I am in Turkey I know why, they don't eat it here (even though they do in Greece to the west and the Arab countries to the east) grrrr.
If any of the supermarkets in Itaewon stock chickpeas and tahini you can make your own if you have a blender. Plenty of recipes online but basically whizz up cooked chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, salt, water/oil.
Can't help with taramasalata or pitta bread sorry. |

If you can't find the tahini and your blender is hardy enough, make your own by throwing in some sesame seeds (found virtually everywhere.)
You'll have to go to the shops in Itaewon around the mosque, or to Hannam Market for the pita and chickpeas though. |

They have pretty good hummus and Baba ganoush with pita at Ali Baba's Egyptian restaurant in Itaewon. They serve small portions, though.
The hummus at Pharoahs (side street right before the Foreign Food Market on Hooker Hill in Itaewon) was too salty the last time I tried it, but it's a nice friendly place.
Pita Time on the main Itaewon street has fairly good hummus wraps which seem very healthy ...
You can get "homemade" Tahini at the Foreign Food Market in small jars. They also have cheaper bags of chick peas ...
(A very vegetarian-friendly Indian restaurant is set to open in that same area right next to Club Cancun...) |

| For hummus and pita bread, try the several Middle eastern grocers in Itaewon. Unfortunately, I've never seen taramasalata here. Not a lot of Greek stuff here. |
