I'm planning on doing some serious backpacking and leaving straight from Korea(so can't get this stuff at home). So I am looking for a place anyone may know to buy good backpacks(women's) and other backpacking or travel items. If anyone knows of a place or a website - it would be much appreciated.

There are a couple of shops right outside of Namdemun market (they sell a lot of Western packs and camping gear). I can't remember which gate it is, but it's right out of the main subway exit (to the left, as opposed to the right going into the market).

Check out www.MEC.ca. They've got a million backpaks to choose from, they're of excellent quality and set at a decent price. They will ship to most countries in the world.

There are some shops (Millet, K2, etc.) outside Suyu Station near the Outback Steakhouse. They are top of the line and pricey. Suraksan station has some, too, they are by a hiking mountain. Dongdaemun stadium is bound to have some, too, they have everything sports related.
