|
|
I finally got a job offer through my recruiter for Evan Moor School in Mok-dong, Seoul. I checked for threads on the school but didn't find any, so if you've heard anything, please let me know. Here's the contract details from the recruiter before the interview if you've got advice on that too.
Salary: 1.8 –1.9 million won for 112 hours (It is
negotiable.)
Working time: 1pm-9pm
Teaching age: Elem-Middle school
No weekend class
Single accommodations (10 min walk from the school)
2 foreign teachers work at the school.
Thanks |

Get the numbers or e-mails of the 2 other western teachers that you mention, and have a chat with them. If they (the school or your recruiter)won't provide these, then someting is fishy.....
You've probably read enuff disaster stories here to guess what qns you need to ask.
Good Luck. |

Pay seems a little low for that many classes, but not toooooo bad. At least try for 2.0. Also try to get your schedule written into the contract to do at least a little to ward off getting a split shift handed to you. |

It says that the hours are negotiable. The only way they will negotiate the hours is in the additional direction. that will be the minimum for that pay. It certainly won't play in your favour |
