I have a Nikon D80 DSLR camera. I need to get it cleaned professionally. Anywhere near Suwon, or Yongsan, where I can get it cleaned?

I don't understand why cameras lenses have to be cleaned professionally though. You could try Yongsan or asking a korean to find out where the nearest outlet is for your camera and they could help you...if you speak korean.

Nikon has After Service centers that will clean your camera for you. I have taken mine in to have the sensor cleaned a couple of times. They do this for free...

You can find a list of the A/S centers here... http://www.nikon.co.kr/support/service/repair/

I've only visited the one in Kangnam... I found them to be friendly and helpful.

Hey Georgiadawg, thanks for the heads up. Can you tell me which subway exit the Nikon store is nearest to? Or what landmarks by which I can find it?

I THINK the Kangnam service center (top one on the list) is near Seolleung Station. They moved the Kangnam location sometime last year. It was previously in one of the main buildings on the main drag through Kangnam. Now, the only thing I can really remember about the new location is that it is just up and around the corner from a Burger King and SK Hub Officetel.

I would suggest maybe copying or printing the Korean address, handing it to a taxi driver and letting him take you there.

Wish I could be more help!

You're right about that. I forgot about handing him the address. In fact, I did that this afternoon when my co-teacher wrote down the address for my bank's main branch so I could go do a wire transfer.

I appreciate you help!
