That depends entirely on the type of health care package you have. Also, Korean drugs are cheap because they're usually generic. They will only give you generics in the States if you specifically ask for them, although I believe by law they're required to verbally offer them to you.

Koreans would rather take it up the ass as long as they're being "patriotic" and "buying Korean". Another reason why they're morons.

Has anyone been to the agriculture museum in Seoul? There's a food exhibit with plastic vegetables, meat, etc. The descriptions are hilarious.

For example: Foreign carrots are small and tasteless, but the Korean variety has vibrant color, is big, and has so much flavor. It goes on and on detailing why Korean meat and produce is better than the foreign stuff.

That's hilarious.

Has anyone been on a Korean tour group? The tour leader always takes the group to restaurants and massage places in Thailand (or any other country outside Korea) and totally rips the K-tourists off. I mean, really bad. Like 900 baht for a massage, or gouging them for 5 times the price for food. Morons. How patriotic is that?
