Socrates Asks "Are you looking in the mirror?"

Perhaps the Method applied.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socrates

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosopher_king

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plato%27s_Republic

"A more positive view of an Platonic style government would be Robert A. Heinlein's Starship Troopers. His citizen can be compared to a Platonic Guardian, without the communal breeding and property, but still having a militaristic base. Although there are significant differences in the specifics of the system, Heinlein and Plato both endorse systems of limited franchise, with a political class that has earned their power and wisely governs the whole. Republic is specifically attacked in Starship Troopers. Indeed, the arachnids can be seen as much closer to a Republic society than the humans."

I just stuck that quote in there 'cause it's Heinlein (From the Plato Link).

Guess this puts the lie to the BS about me being a mad, crazy, foaming-at-the-mouth liberal: I'm dead in the middle of the list.

Somewhat to the Left and Libertarian. I think Ghandi was similar to where my dot was, I definitely was not near Pinochet or Stalin:)

I thought some of the questions were worded strangely and some of them I could have answered 'it depends'..those were mainly the economic ones.
