Can you think of some things that don't mix well with Koreans?
1. Christianity. The Catholics here seem to be quite reasonable and laid-back. They don't feel the need to preach their religion to everyone. The Protestants need to tell everyone. They're like the JW's back at home.
2. Elevators. Need I say more? |

Jeez... I can see this list potentially going on forever ...
Let me help get started...
- the simple concept of waiting in line.
- taxi lines (at least around where I live).
- traffic regulations, in general. |

What are you talking about?
Catholism and Protestantism are both forms of Christianity. Looks like you've been spending too much time around Koreans who don't know this.
Elevators? Yes, you do need to say more. I like Korean elevators. The "unselect" feature is awesome.
What does your question even mean? "Mix well"? |

What's the real purpose of this thread? Come on, guys, this isn't really necessary. Stereotypes and wild generalisations are not helpful. |

True, not helpful... But, perhaps it's just for fun... Very few threads seem to have any purpose... |

Soju and old dudes....
Korean guys and girls...hence us waygooks lads are here to save em!
Someone said subways, I COMPLETELY AGREE...the concept of waiting for people to get off before they others can get on doesn't work here.
Cops and highschool kids with uninsured motorcycles and no helmets! (Both of them are losers, so maybe they do mix!)
A few clowns on this board and the good people on this board...I will let you make your own decision on that one!

Elevators, huh?
Some are good and kinda work together, in a computerized way. Others, people just press all of the buttons and it ends up an elevator has to stop at every single floor on the way up or down.
Also, the similar concept to subways, where people don't wait for others to get off, they push on, they overload it often, and so on.
The worst thing to me is when some goofball holds the elevator when waiting for their friend or saying goodbye to someone. If it's empty, go for it. If someone makes me wait for their selfish reasons, I get quite pissed off.
Then there are people who take the elevator 1 floor up. I am not talking old people, disabled, pregnant, or whatever. I see perfectly healthy people doing it all the time. Even waiting 1-2 minutes for the elevator.

How is this Korean specific? Or perhaps you never were on an elevator before coming to Korea? |

Koreans & Good food.
Nobody in this country would ever win an international cooking contest. Except for about 4 or 5 of their own dishes, they can't cook anything noteworthy. |
