For my special class this semester, I think I want to some activty that is self-paced, individual work. Something like a folder for each student with activities and projects. But, more interesting than a bunch of worksheets.
I remember back in 4th grade or so, we had reading cards, color-coded by difficulty, that we would get and complete during certain times of class. I want something like that.
One nice thing about this method is that there can be a fairly tangible measure of student progress, which students often like.
Any suggestions? |
