"Daddy...what does 'regret' mean?"
"Well, son, the funny thing about regret is, it's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't done. And by the way...if you see your mom this week-end..? Be sure and tell her...
SATAN! SATAN! SATAN!"

I hope that's just some sick joke. While I'd be the last person to support American foreign policy, I don't condone the killing of innocent people.

Poured gaseline into the backyard swimming pool. I was a toddler and a lawn mower gas can was sitting next to it so I added it thinking it was the rest of the water!!! LOL! Then when I was 5, I stole $1 off of my daddy's dresser and walked by myself to the pet store and bought a gold fish. Needless to say, when I returned home with my new goldfish, I was in big trouble. It meant black and blue bruises by dads belt buckle. It only took these 2 occurances of black and blue bruises to show me I was very wrong. No more boo boos.

Never again did I steal nor pour gas into swimming pools or steal what was not mine!!!

Nor do I. However, seeing what evil has been done by america in the name of retaliation, any sympathy has long since evaporated over those 2,973 fatalities. How many multiples of that number will it take in retribution before america decides it has had its payback against a small fanatic group not linked to any government? As it is today, hundreds of thousands of innocent people have died in Afghanistan and Iraq because of america.

You are right. But, that doesn't make the killing of innocent people, however many, acceptable.

Svetlana,

You are a saint if that is the worst thing you've ever done......

As for my own black space - I've already made my own peace but every day it is still that same struggle....anon.

I cheated on the only guy I ever loved. I still feel like sh*t about it to this day. He and I have made peace about it, but still. Ugh.
