NEW YORK - CBS fired Don Imus from his radio program Thursday, the finale to a stunning fall for one of the nations most prominent broadcasters.

Imus initially was given a two-week suspension for calling the Rutgers womens basketball team nappy-headed hos on the air last week, but outrage continued to grow and advertisers bolted from his CBS radio show and its MSNBC simulcast, which was canceled Wednesday.

Imus has publically stated that the "official" 911 story is a fraud?

Is this true?

Was just reading someone's speculation that THIS is the real reason the "PC" language police are hoping to see him thoroughly crucified.

N.J. Governor Injured In "Car Crash"
By GEOFF MULVIHILL, Associated Press Writer

CAMDEN, N.J. - Gov. Jon S. Corzine was critically injured Thursday when his motorcade crashed en route to a meeting between radio personality Don Imus and the Rutgers women's basketball team, a doctor said.

Corzine, 60, suffered numerous broken bones but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, officials said. He was recuperating early Friday at Cooper University Hospital in critical but stable condition after two hours of surgery to repair a seriously damaged leg and other injuries.

So the ambulance chaser is talking to the local smart-as-s news reporter at the scene of the accident.

Maher is probably thinking whether he needs to curb his tongue, too. Then again, he's such a pr-ick, he wouldn't bother to mull it over.
