Now I know I'm not the 'target' audience for this show, but it absolutely repulses me.

I'll actively get up off my sofa to turn it off, regardless of whether the tv is mute or not. Four ugly, old women banging on about the sex they have with ugly, but in their world, 'hot' guys. Also, they always have sex with their bras on, they can't be having great, passionate sex if they haven't even got round to whipping their saggy funbags out.

Rant over.

What are you, a pedophile? You only get off to 14 year old girls?

The actresses in the show were mid 30s when they started the show. Samantha a bit older. Certainly not old

Well, no one forces you to watch. Just turn the channel back to Baywatch and all will be well for you.

The bad thing is, countless students of mine think "that's the way it is" in America.

I'm not kidding.

I remember watching, "My Sassy Girl" four years ago, and thinking, "oh my gosh... Korean women are like that? I'll never marry one."

Well, come to think of it, I'm still not married. Laughing

In the original show, they took their bras off... once it hit mainstream TV, the boobs and bums got tucked away Sad

yeah, they are not old, but they are whores and they make men in Korea and in other parts of the world think all American women are sluts. They sleep with anything that moves and yes, all the men they bang are fugly. The only decent loking one was Smith, Samantha's model guy. What did he see in Samantha????????? Oh yeah, sex.

How many times have you watched the show? Or do you just have a Madonna-whore complex?

Many of the the Korean English teachers, that I have met, think that too. Many seem to think that most Americans are sooooo rich and are intimate all the time in all places. Sometimes they are shocked when I tell them that there are alot more bums in most cities than there are in Korea.

Not about the show itself, but I had this dream wherein my GF is talking to me -- well, it felt more like badgering me -- about "Sex IN the City", she wants to know why sex IN the city is supposed to be so great, what about sex in the country, etc. And I'm trying to tell her it's AND, not IN, but she doesn't understand or won't listen, just keeps on & on. I couldn't take it anymore and I couldn't get away, so I punched her in the arm. I felt really bad about doing that, even after I woke up, even though I knew it was just a dream. The weird thing is, I don't recall us EVER talking about that show in reality. Confused

Actually in Asia a lot of guys are like "STAY AWAY FROM KOREAN WOMEN!" because of just that reason.

Unfortunately, people all over the world think this. What do you expect when we continually export shows like SatC and Friends, and blast other countries with images of American women like Pam Anderson and Britney Spears? Makes travel and expat life that much more difficult for American women (especially us blondes). We're always up against the general assumption that we're complete sleazes devoid of any character or values. It's no fun, believe me.

I have never, ever understood SatC or Friends and I've seen more episodes of both than I care to admit. They make no sense to me whatsoever. They're bizarre. I'm not like that, the people I know aren't like that, and the behavior and attitudes of the characters are unfathomable to me. It's like looking at some culture on an alien planet.

I don't particularly care how anyone is portrayed. Let them think what they must and deal with it on a one-on-one basis and throw it back in their faces.
