How far are you into your contract and how much money are you owed?

Don't just quit, that's fking stupid and weak

Use your contract as the almighty sword. The Labor Board will back you up if the hogwan truly is breaking the contract.

What would you do if you were at home working at a private business and the same thing happened?

It's pretty much the same, take it to a higher authority. Breach of contract is breach of contract. If you can't work it out with your boss go to his boss.

If his boss is the labor board then that's where it goes.

If his boss is the tax office then that is where it goes.

Read your contract before you sign it, read your contract after you sign it.
Read your contract anytime you have an issue. Review the labor laws.

Rule #1 always, always, always listen to Tompatz advice.

(it's foolproof, Tompatz reviewed my contract, I am happy)

If your director is an a bad mood you can be sure sure it is because he is not making enough money. Always the teacher is blamed for this. Actually it is because of lousey business skilss and marketing acumen. Were he to admit this he would lose face.

Someonw has said her that is is weak to leave your contract. This is ridiculous. Only a fool stays in a bad situation when there are so many alternatives. To fight him is a waste of time anv effot. Even if you win, which is unlikely, you will win nothing but your director`s bad will.

I quit 3 hagwons on the spot because of one problem or another. I am glad I did. I now have a good job which I plan to keep.

Exactly how is that "ruthless"? sounds more like he's plain old dishonest. If he were ruthless, I'm sure you would have a list of much more serious charges against the guy.

Start with gathering your important documents and protecting them. Get them someplace safe.

Arrange a meeting and go through your legitimate grievances dispassionately, with your contract to back you up...
