Yes - was nice to meet you. But I was absolutely buggered. IT was too far, took ages to get there, got lost, luckily, a wonderful camel (with no humps!) came and found us, and we got onto the programme. But it felt lke all i did all day was travel. I was utterly exhausted at the end of it, and during it too actually. Next time it will have to be closer to home, and not underneath chestnut trees!

Tiger Beer and Emma Clare - where were you, you pikers!!!

How often do they hold paintball?

I had the best of intentions of going and seriously regret not being there.

I was trying to stay home on Saturday night.. and one of my buddies called me a couple times.. and suddely around midnight I made the run to Shinchon for some beer.. made it back about 7 hours later.. (had the intention of doing both - going out and then coming back - waking up - playing paintball).

But as things progressed on my 'a few beers' ended up progressing and got home actually spinning in my head (which doesn't happen often to me anymore).. still intended to wake up and go.. and just didn't.

Woke up around 2pm and immediately pissed off at myself about it. Paintball would have 1000s time better than yet another night out. Sad

Even though Daejeon is further.. I'm going to make it a point to not go out the night before.. I don't want to miss it again.

Or we could go out in Daejeon on Saturday night. I did that once, then went to Busan the next day. Joyous hangover heaven on a bus!

There's approximately a 50% chance of me coming this weekend. I'm expecting a friend to come out from Japan and hang for a bit, and if he shows up, I have no idea if he's down with paintball or not. If he doesn't show up, though, I'll go.

I think that's it from the Dave's Brigade. What a fine photo it would have made of Blue Flower at different points during the day covered in paint and spiders and crap wearing the finest tracksuit pants 1000 won can buy... Laughing Are you badly scarred BF..? I'm covered in half a dozen tennis ball sized bruises and a handful of little circles.

Yeah Saturday.
I can't get the link to the place to work so at some point someone'll have to be proactive and call them to get all the details.
It's 2am now so it's not going to be me.

I found some written directions to the bar but no map...

To find The Bad Apple in Daejeon, go past Walmart towards Chung-nam University, turn left at the lights at the bridge. Go along the river and turn left at the first set of lights. The Bad Apple is on the right a couple of buildings past the police station on the fourth floor above the "Channel Q" convenience store, which displays a bright yellow sign.

I only got shot at the end of the last game (yes I know how awesome i am) and it was right on the back of my thigh so I can't see the damage. Doesn't hurt though. I got more damaged from the chestnuts and mozzies. Sarah got a few nice bruises. What was wrong with my trackies? I thought I looked really cool, hip, and happening. The mud added a rural flavour.

NB - those of you thinking of doing it - take along insect repellant. Ask for a chest protector. They give amazing support.

OKAY I JUST CALLED HIM.

By the way, a foreigner answers the phone.. that made it easy.. I just made a Korean make the phone call..

anyhow.. its CANCELLED for this weekend. Not enough interest or not enough people.

I gave him my email and he's going to send me a message when its re-scheduled which he says will probably be in a couple weeks..
