|
|
The teachers and trainees at my school told me there will be a lot more days of damaging 'yellow dust' coming up in the next few weeks/months, but is there a place where I can check the levels from day to day? On the Internet.
I checked the local press online, but no mention of yellow dust?
I run/speed walk or ride a bike most days of the week, and would obviously like to know the levels before venturing out.
An English website would be necessary, because I have not yet learned to read hangeul.
Thanks for any tips.

There is a similar site in Korean, but it covers the entire country. You can click on the city you live in to see the current conditions:
http://www.kma.go.kr/dust/dust_01_02.jsp
(The entire site http://www.kma.go.kr/weather_main.jsp is pretty good actually.)
However, I haven't been able to find a site where we can see a yellow dust forecast. Anybody know such a site? |

Thanks for the army site info about yellow dust.
According to the graph, the general level of yellow dust is below 100 this weekend, which is considered moderate, so, I assume, it is fine for most of us to exercise and go about normal business outside.
The Yonsan site does not mention different regions of Korea, or am I missing something? Is it generalized, and if so, why, because the north, surely, is more affected compared with southern areas of Korea?

Click the tabs at the top of the page for other regions in Korea. |

Something similar for smog levels would be pretty good. |
