I've made the switch to a gleaming new Macbook Pro, and am selling the smaller one to make room on my desk. This is a great computer that does almost everything well right out of the box, although it is a little weak in the video department. It will play any type of video just fine, but you should look elsewhere if you're into gaming or video editing. Macbooks arent necessarily the most powerful in all areas but they are thin, light, beautifully designed, and the operating system is phenomenal; an absolute joy to use. I was a Mac hater for years before I bought this machine on a whim for something different; I won't be going back to Windows (Although this setup gives me the option of using XP whenever I want, I rarely need to or do) It is in great condition, the only marks on it are the inevitable minor surface abrasions. I have reinstalled the OS and all the software, and defragged the HD. It also has a valid copy of Windows XP Pro installed on the drive using Boot Camp. **Take note: this is a first generation Intel Macbook with the original Core Duo chip and 4X Superdrive.** Despite this fact, this machine comes with extra software and accessories which make it a great deal at this price. I bought it in November and it still has six months of original warranty remaining. The price is absolutely firm at 1 million. Here are the specs:
Intel Core Duo 2.0Ghz Processor
1 GB DDR2 SDRAM 667Mhz (2x512MB)
80 GB Hard Drive
13.3" Glossy screen
Built-in iSight webcam and microphone
Integrated Intel video W/64MB shared RAM
4X Superdrive (Records DVD+-R,DVD-RW,CD+-R,CD-RW)
Ports: 2xUSB, 1xFirewire, 1xEthernet, 1xMiniDVI, 1xAnalog audio, 1xDigital audio
Built-in Wi-fi 802.11g
Bluetooth 2.0
Software:
Apple OSX 10.4.9
Windows XP Pro SP2
Apple iLife '06 (iPhoto, iChat, iTunes, iMovie, iDVD, iCal, etc.)
Apple iWork (Keynote, Pages)
Microsoft office for Mac 11.3.4 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Aperture 1.5.2 (Top-shelf photo editing software)
Final Cut Pro 5.1.3 (Video editing)
Roxio Toast 7.1.2 (Essential DVD and CD burning software)
Flip4Mac Pro (for playing and converting WMA, WMV files)
Macbook comes with:
MacCase sleeve - very tough protective cover
MiniDVI to VGA adapter (necessary for any presentation in Korea)
Front Row remote (still in wrapper!)
Original CDs and documentation
Magnetic power cord w/extra long cable
***Does not come with original box, had to leave that at home when I flew over.
If you don't already know, there are too many details to list about these things, go to http://www.apple.com/macbook/macbook.html and take a look, virtually all the feature are the same except the processor and Superdrive.
If you need to see some pictures, go to http://www.apple.com/macbook/gallery/
This Macbook has the exact same case as the newer ones, so that's exactly what it looks like.
I live in Kyonggi-do, not far from the city, so if you want to have a look PM me or send me an email [email protected] and we can work something out. Cheers!

As of Saturday morning it's still available! I have gone ahead and installed Windows XP Pro on the drive and completely updated it, it's ready to go. Also, Apple just released a new set of drivers for Boot Camp (Windows on Mac), making the experience even better and more reliable. |

The price seems attractive (assuming everything is in perfect working order). But I wonder about the legal status of the software (particularly Windows XP Pro, MS Office for Mac, Roxio Toast, Final Cut Pro).
I already have a MacBook with similar specs, in addition to an earlier iBook.
You might try contacting smwood; that poster often responds to Mac offers.
Otherwise, if you are looking to get rid of it I could offer as much as 750,000 won, because of above mentioned concerns.

Sorry but I am totally overloaded with Mac's as it is. Bought waayyy too many.
FWIW I think the price looks good for the Macbook. Good luck selling it.

Sine qua non: Great logo/pic!
As an MCSE I can truly appreciate the humour. |
