So yesterday my 5th grade girls came over at the end of class and sang a pop song for me in English using the microphones. Perfect pronunciation. Off their own bat, nobody had put them up to it. After which they all helped clean up the classroom, swept around/cleaned my desk, and put everything away.Co teacher was amazed. I was suitably impressed and will be a little choked to leave this school in 3 weeks time...

How sweet!!!!!!! Laughing

That's probably not far from the truth.

They were promised a glowing school report card if he stayed.
But, taking in the moment, it must have been very nice to be surprised in that manner. I would have choked up.

And yes, the director was directing the directorate to directorirate the direction of that coir. Laughing

Yep they can be really cute. I have 3 or 4 classes that usually come over to chat at the end of the lesson. First time they've sung for me though.
This is why I prefer elementary kids over middle schoolers. They always cheer me up every day.
