|

I found this page mentioning the Seamans Club which sells American products
http://wiki.galbijim.com/Seamen%27s_Club
It is possible to get in without someone to introduce you? The page says teachers can get recommended and gain membership simply by going in with someone who has a Seamans card, military ID, or US government ID. Is it possible for a US citizen going alone to get in with thier passport? I have no one to bring me in as a guest. |

Wait for the FTA to kick in and you won't need to worry about that kind of thing. |

I have eaten in the dining room unaccompanied, but have never been into the area where all the goodies are for sale. |

They just have to pretend that they are forcing everyone to buy a membership. Some kind of deal with the Korean government. In actuallity they don't care.
Just walk in like you own the place and sit down at a table. The more formal dining room is on the right just as you come in. The more bar like dining room (feels like a VFW in teh states) is the next door on your right. I prefer this one.
You can also buy stuff no problem.
I've been eating and buying stuff there for a year and half now with no problems. |
