cuban lord you might have to simplify Laughing . from the sounds of it he is suggesting you should check the temp of your computer. download speed fan

http://www.download.com/SpeedFan/3000-2094_4-10540297.html?tag=lst-0-2

this programme is easy to use and free

if not over heating your PSU might be at fault (try removing all your usb cables)

I think it can't be overheating if it is doing it every 3 minutes.

Agreed. But now, after overheating so many times, it may just be messed up.

OP, what is the status buddy?

thanks for everyones help! I am no technical wizard, and I didn't know all the technical stuff you were talking about, cubanlord Embarassed .

I have had to shift my furniture around this past weekend, and I have discovered that one of the feet is missing on the box. Now, the box used to be in a cubby of the desk, and I wonder if I have been kicking the desk, and causing the box to unbalance, causing all the problems. I know this computer has acted up in the past if I had to move it.

It would be too sweet and simple if this was the problem...I have stablized the box, and put it up on the desk. If that doesn't solve things, I will have to drag this thing into a repair place, as I am not the least bit equiped to start messing with it.

thanks again everyone!

No problem big daddy. Just be careful. A lot of people think the solution to everything is REFORMAT!!! Shocked

That isn't the case. Smile
