This is the third time now. I got them back the last 2 times, but I had to go looking for them. Someone decided to wear them and then leave them at a different entrance (the first time) someone took them last time and I had to hunt them down again. That time they turned up back at the same exit 4 hours later.

I know this seems petty, but it is annoying.

That's nasty. I don't care how clean their feet are. Entrance to what? Restaurant? School?

I have the same problem at my public school - my sandals are always disappearing. I wonder if attaching my name to them will make any difference.

I once lost my sandles in Laos.

I had been enjoying the flammable shrubbery floating down a river with a few beers for the afternoon. On exiting the river i realized that I couldn't actually see very well and maybe had over done it a bit so I headed off to bed leaving my sandles at the top stairs to my room.

Getting up a few hours later I put my sandals back on, but they weren't mine. They looked the same as mine, they were the same size as mine and they had the same pattern but they most definitely were not mine.

I wore them for the evening but just couldn't get comfortable in these alien sandals so I had to go to bed. I cleverly took them with me to my room this time.

Next morning on arising from my bed I went out to the stairs to find my sandals were back. I have to say I was overjoyed by this. I was reunited with my trusting friends.

Later that day floating down the river again I noticed a man go by wearing my sandals or at least the ones I had worn the night before which weren't mine but looked like mine.

I knew cause I had cut a big wedge in the front just to make sure I didn't pick the wrong ones up again.

No. Won't help at all. Been there, done that...

I got so fed up that I wore my shoes to my classroom, and throughout the whole school and I didn't care who gawked. When they asked me why I was wearing outdoor shoes indoors, I told them because my outdoor shoes were gone once and I had to go home in my slippers. Those were my expensive, nice, new shoes, too. That seemed to have shut them up.

It's my indoor sandals that keep disappearing. (public school)

If they don't turn up this time, I guess I'll just wear those crappy slippers for the rest of the year. Shocked

YUK!

On second thought, I'm going to carry them with me when I go home at night. That way, I'll know where they are the next day.

I think I've spotted the culprit, it's one of the male teachers. It might be that he just happens to have the same sandals that I had.... so I haven't approached him....yet.

Don't you have a little cubby hole-cupboard thing (with your name on it) in your school's entrance?

Or else what you can do is wear your outdoor shoes to your desk, then change into your "slipper" there.

No such luck. There's just a standard shoe shelf at the door. Funny thing is, nobody else's shoes (or sandals) have gone missing.

Whoever is doing it, knows whose shoes they are. Evil or Very Mad

Koreans have no problem trading shoes and hairbrushes. Yuck.

Ever used the community sauna hairbrush?

When I worked at a Kindy hagwon, EVERY man who came into that school would steal my sandals for the duration of their stay. The rest were all woman-sized.

Lock them in your desk.

Or you can write this on them.

_______ 꺼 만지만죽인다!!!!!!!!

Put your name in the blank and it will say

These are _________. Touch and die!!!!!!!!!!

Did that once. Everyone thought I was joking, but nobody touched my sandals again.

The only time I've had shoes stolen was in Thailand. Stepped into a net cafe briefly. Left about 5 minutes later and the shoes were gone. Had to walk a good 3km in my bare feet to get to my hotel.

I did that with my umbrella, but it didn't work. It said "If your name isn't _____, then this isn't your F***ing umbrella". It was uniquely mine ie. a design that couldn't be mistaken for someone else's umbrella either, so it was deliberate that it went missing. That was the fourth one I'd had stolen in about a 2 month period.

We have a giant shoe locker by the doors. they all have doors with our names on it.

Thankfully, my shoes have not been stolen. I've been paranoid that one day I'm gonna find toothpaste or something in my shoes. Some of the boys in my school don't like me because I don't tolerate them misbehaving in class like the Korean teachers.

One day I was standing outside and a box of milk landed right next to me. It looked like someone dropped it from the 4th or 5th floor intending to have it land on me.
