I forgot about this thread...good one to revisit.

Nope for me. I am a very big guy and I would think Koreans would think twice.

During IMF myself and my roommate always got into it with some Korean adjushi's...but the Korean guys were drunk and I have a conscience - I couldnt live with taking them down because they were doing what drunk people do - act/say stupidity.

Hasn't happened to me yet, but when I was in college, some friends and I did something stupid. We pulled up next to a car which was parked in a "parking" (make-out) area at night. As a joke, we pretended to take a photo with a camera that didn't have any film. The flash went off, and the people in the car got pissed. They chased our car across town, and when we got to a stoplight, the driver of the car got out and ran to my window.

He started trying to swing at me though the passenger window. My friend freaked and drove through the light (no cars had taken off from the other side -- they were all watching). My friend floored it and turned left down the street. The guy swinging at me lost his footing as he tried to hold on to the door. He pulled himself up just long enough to look in my window and see my fist hit his face. Then he went crashing to the ground and rolled away. He's darn lucky we didn't run over him.

A friend who happened to be watching from a car in the other part of the intersection said the guy lost both of his front teeth. I believe it, as his teeth cut my hand where I hit him.

I couldn't say "seriously" physically assaulted, so I couldn't really vote..
The last violence inflicted upon me where I came off second best was during my university days- brawls at nightclubs or outside bars. I lived in N. Ireland, so it was a fairly regular thing. None of them were serious enough to warrant a trip to hospital though, I was lucky.

Not since high-school. And I try to avoid real conflicts because I know what lengths I'm willing to go to.

Only once; an altercation in which there was a woman, a misunderstanding, and an excessive amount of alcohol involved. I got one good shot in, though; I smacked the guy real good in his fist with my face.

Here? Nope, never, not even close.
I've only been in two fights in England though, where it's pretty difficult to avoid trouble.

I almsot got my teeth kicked in, but to be honest, in some ways it was my fault.

I was in a PC pang when I heard (yet again), there was a brawl outside. Everybody was standing around like idiots, watching it. This guy was laying on some trash and this other guy was kicking him again and again.

I couldn't take it, so I stood infront of the downed guy and said "What are you doing? You don't treat people like that." He stopped. But then the downed guy got up and said some stupid sh** like "bring it on." (yea, I know, really lame. He just couldn't walk away)

And then this random guy walked up and started fighting too (!!honestly!!). It was just planet of the apes.

So I was very lucky I didn't dragged into the mess.
