a one room usually costs around 300000 a month with a 2-3 million deposit. Something to consider if your ad doesn't pan out. |

My goal is to avoid the key money deposit thus, the "temp." housing search
Spare room, closet, etc? Small spaces don't scare me however, the back and forth bus commute does ^^
Any takers??!
Thanks |

Are you using the buses that Samsung lays on? That can save time on the Suwon side.
Sadly I'm not aware of much around the campus itself. There are some dorms in the campus mind you (I used to work in an office attached to them) - no idea who you'd have to speak to to get space in one of them! |

Like I said the commute is what's killing me. Herniated lower disc or cheap temporary housing in Suwon? Those Samsung buses are always overheated, poorly ventilated, and standing room only.
What's a goshiwon? |

I did my MBA in the end - spent the year living in Singapore, then France, then Germany, then France again; got to see various places in SE Asia from the cheap flight heaven that is Singy too. Had a great time.
Spent some time bumming around the UK applying for jobs, then burnt a couple of hundred thousand miles visiting HK en route to Korea to pick up my girlfriend. We head to Tokyo and then back to the UK this weekend. After a month I hope we'll be heading to Dubai where I've got a sweet job offer. I'll be learning Arabic and Korean at the same time over there - should be fun. Hopefully she'll get a job there too... otherwise we might head US-wards.
It's good to see you're still around, how's life treating you? |
