The free drinks night was always free entry also...

I don't think you ever went on a Wednesday night?

....and you actually paid the 20k on a normal weekend night for Cage??? Why? If you want that kind of place, just go to Spy for free...

hahaha...Free on Wednesdays for foreigners??? Why??? Is this one of those crazy happy international parties? Why does a bar want to let foreigners in for free on Wednesdays? Do they think all foreigners are dirt poor?

You know, I've heard that an awful lot, that "ladies nights" benefit guys. Frankly, it doesn't.
Ladies nights encourage girls to go out with their lady friends for the evening. The most horrible thing for a guy on a prowl is to find the perfect girl...has friends. Friends who are not getting attention from other guys, will drag a girl away from you.

I guess that's why you need a wing-man or two,

woah woah wwwwoooooaaahhh!!! WHO told you about the wingman scheme??!

Evil or Very Mad
The wingman scheme is lame guys. If a guy likes a girl enough, he can go over and talk to her himself. Ladies, ALWAYS let a guy talk to you FIRST, otherwise, you won't like how he treats you later.

You don't know what a wingman does. Hint: How many women go to bars alone.

Haven't been on that street for a coupla weeks, but last I saw they still had it boarded up while prepping it for HRC ... just curious, does it mean they're going to close the one in Abku? Wasn't aware they ever had more than one per city.

Man, it went there last night. It's amazing how drunk you can get in 3 hours. I left at 11 (only two hours!) and was drunk until I went to sleep at 3 and didn't have another drink after that. Wednesday is the new Thursday.

But I gotta say, it sucks that it's at the cage. They progressively crank up their sh*tty dance music and the bartenders are totally put out by the fact that you're there. The layout is nice, though. Huge improvement over Limelight.

Aw, I loved Limelight. No dress code, cheap, strong drinks, good cheesy mix of music, guys who want to get laid and loads of girls that did too. A better atmosphere than in the latest closest thing which in my estimaiton are the tin-pan bars in hongdae. Everyone got just what they wanted at Limelight. Plenty of hot western ladies who put out and lots of guys for them to choose from, lots of Korean girls that like western guys for those that only go for Korean totty and always plenty of drunken, fallen straglers lined up at the bar by 6am for when I - uh, I mean you - were so drunk and down on my - er your- luck I couldnt get it on with anyone else... Wink

Yeah, Im digressing now, but Id say the tin pan bars are the closest thing to what Limelight used to be but not good for guys who are after Koran girls as the hongdae Korean girls are students out for fun but (in my experince anyhow) never put out and you get quite a few aggressive dudes in there too which you never used to in Limelight. I dont know what this says about me (or at least wouldnt like to admit it in public) but Limelight was nighlife utopia for me, nice and laidback and unpretentious fun.

Anyone remember spybar before when it was Hollywood basement? I liked that too... very laid back and simple. Spy does have best music in Itaewon but the people are so damned snooty in there, I never feel good in there unless I too am with a big crowd.

Limelight I will always lament... sniff....
