It seems that in these videos you see they are more concerned with "securing the area" or wading in very cautiously than busting in and getting the bad guys. I understand they want to be careful with their lives, but it seems they are more concerned with doing that than doing their jobs.
Of course I've never been in the police or know anyone who is, so perhaps they just have rediculous protocol to follow first. Either way, after the results of Columbine and this, I think Police departments need to speed things up, and not just harass the victims after the perpetrator has already killed himself. |

No they are not. In fact they are among the most corrupt in the western world. German, Swedish, Norwegian, and Canadian police are known as the most professional in the world.
Look at the school shooting which occurred in Montreal Quebec not long ago. Police actually were brave and charged into the school and confronted the shooter, stopping him from killing more than 1 person. Unlike cowardly american police who lurked around outside, too cowardly to go in and stop the shooter. |

American police don't take shite. They will individually bust your head or shoot you if you threaten them.
Police who wait outside a hostage situation are under direct orders from someone who is trying to keep the hostages alive.
Did you know police and military service is NOT mandatory? The police that go after criminals could work in other professions, but don't because they like helping other people. The poor pay they receive for risking their lives is NOT why they serve. |
