Hey there! Does anyone have any information, good or bad, for the following recruiters?
--Planet People
--ESL Planet
--Park English
--OK Recruiting
--Creets Recruiting
--True English
--APC (Asian-Pacific Consulting)

My wife and I lived in Bundang for one year, and worked at a Kindy hogwan, and really enjoyed it. We're trying to come back and do it again, same area (Bundang), but we're looking for a different hogwan to try out; something for a little more money, etc.

Anyway, I'm dealing w/the above recruiters (and several more) but I'm trying to narrow things down, and weed out the good from the bad. I have plenty of ammunition in questions to ask, both from our own experiences, and the postings on here from others. But, any info. on these recruiters would be great! Thank you.

Esl planet helped me with my current job. The job is excellent and they have very good back-up service. I had loads of issues with my new visa but they were able to solve everything.

I used Planet ESL as well. I was a newbie and didn't know what the hell I was doing, and they were crazy helpful in helping me get everything figured out. They were also very quick about returning emails and phone calls.

There is a difference between Planet ESL and ESL Planet.

Planet ESL is a smaller run recruiting agency, and has a Canadian running things. He is very good, and attentive. He has a nice website.

Park English is a large recruiting agency, has many people working for them, and often post information on this board, sometimes helpful, other times things people already know or don't affect them.

The other ones, I haven't heard about. Bottom line though, the recruiters work for the schools and not for you, because the schools pay them. So they may not have your best interest in mind.

I would use as many recruiters as possible, just as the hagwons use as many recruiters as possible. Get as much information about the schools or academies. And the bottom line is, don't sign anything until you have spoken by email, or over the phone to more than 1 foreigner at the school. (Some foreigners might have alterior motives for selling up the school.)
