I will leave Korea for a few months (about 3-5 months) and will return on a new visa with a new employer. When I leave, will my bank account remain open? Upon my return, will I be able to still use it or will it be closed automatically when turning in the ARC card and the visa expires? Will I have to start a new bank account? Thank you. |

Do you think the bank is in contact with immigration?
Your account will be safe. I think it has to be inactive for way longer than 3-5 months. 3-5 years maybe...3-5 months...no way.
Instead of asking people on a forum I'd ask the bank. |

I left an account here with quite a bit of money in it for almost a year. No problem. |
