When I worked there I never taught under 6 classes per day..busy months are january and august usually......vacation days??? what the heck are those?? just the same as everybody else here in Korea...work work work....YBM sisa might be able to get you out of split shifts after a while but if not just smile and do it.... |

They sound like slave drivers. You don't want to work for anyone who's going to make you do reports, lesson planning, etc. They don't pay you enough and you don't get anything in return.
What's this 2 classes required in excess of the 6 class/day BS? Prep? Classes? What?
I'll be a monkey's uncle before anyone in Korea is going to tell me how to do my job as an English teacher.
If you're new to teaching and they're paying anything less than 2.5, wing it. Any English is good English for the students. Some people not like what I just said, but you get what you pay for.
They're going to make you be there what? 8 or 9 hours/day? Teaching and working the whole time? That's ridiculous.
I know someone who worked for them. He said they were really good at making the kids behave and making them do homework, etc. Yeah. Good for them.  |
