That Mr. B story was really terrible. But, it had a twist ending. It surprised me. It made my heart drop. then in the last sentence pushed it back up again.

May the AOL employee should stop living in hindsight and fear and should have inspired the classmates to 'bring him [young Choi] out of his shell.'

He actually had some literary merit. Some skill at pulling out the denourement or end of a short story.

A revolting story.
But a tragedy.

I had already read Richard McBeef but not Mr Brownstone. OMG, that is such pathetic writing; and yes, I can actually see a couple of typical Korean mistakes in it (e.g. homeworks). It's not really very disturbing; it's just so puerile. It's the type of thing you'd expect a troubled middle school student to write, not anyone at uni.
