Yeah nwise, Zanger is a legend, that's for sure:

Quote:
Zanger puts his money where his mouth is. He holds the unofficial record in trading stocks by turning $11,000 into more than $18 million in 18 months in 1999-2000. He grew that to an incredible $42 million in less than two years and has the tax receipts to prove it.

Cool thing about it is that he is a LIVING legend. I've gone to 3 of his seminars. Check out his website, chartpattern.com. Based on what I've read and heard him say, he's making over a mill a year just off his newsletter.

He's human though. Makes mistakes like everyone else. Last seminar he came in all flustered and explained how he had to get a taxi to chase the taxi he was in previously because he left his seminar computer in it when he got out.

Really, he does not do anything that magical. Just chart patterns with a IBD type of fundimental analysis focusing in on the strongest groups.

ah... can you speak korean? i know one guy (korean american) who works as an institutional trader here; he seems to do very well and the fact that he can speak english and korean gives him a real advantage. i, on the other hand, speak what is probably best described as low-intermediate (ie. crap) korean, and thus have found it really hard to get trading jobs here. anyway there's much more money in london so after the mba that's where i'm staying.
