Yes, I know, I know that anything related to the Virginia shootings is supposed to be contributed to this thread. However, I think that this was different enough to merit its own distinct discussion. Please bear with me.

(First of all, Hat Tip to the Marmot's Hole)

Someone at the New York Times has speculated that there may have been a connection between the Korean movie "Old Boy" and the Virginia shootings, based upon a movie still and a picture that the shooter took of himself:

Personally, I think it's ridiculous. What do you think?

I don't know if it's ridiculous or not. People have done things for stranger reasons.

I think it would be kind of funny (in a sad sort of way) if the American media runs with this and tries to say that Korean movies are too violent and are a bad influence on children.
