Red frog? Am I crazy or is that a singularly inappropriate name?
I have heard plenty of frogs around my town, but had the pleasure of finding one in a hotel lobby down in Dacheon. I was also thrilled to discover my Korean is sufficient to ask the desk clerk if he wanted to look at it. I caught him and put him outside, of course. |

Kudos to you rapier, I've always enjoyed reading about amphibians and reptiles, but never had the heart to keep them captive in a terrarium. Great links too. |

Which toad is best for licking? |
Of course, toads are now declining and threatened species- so nobody should be hunting them for hallucinogenic purposes.
What (if any) chemicals found in Bufo toads are psychedelic, or mind-manifesting?
5-MeO-DMT has effects that are said to resemble those of N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and psilocybin when smoked (Perrine 1996; Shulgin 1997). 5-MeO-DMT is a member of the group called methylated indoolealkylamines (MIAs). On pharmacologic testing, all MIAs were found to have strong hallucinogenic properties.

Does the Far Eastern treefrog sound like a duck? If not, which species:
--sounds like a duck
--calls both at day and at night
--is breeding right now (late June) |

While scrolling down the page I noticed a sticky titled "How much soju is it polite to drink?" That's a sticky? That I never noticed? Ah, but it appears someone deleted all their posts and changed the thread title as well. Did this happen on April Fools and I'm behind the times, or did something else provoke the change? |

Maybe the mods will notice this and get rid of this thread. |

How much soju is it POLITE to drink? I dunno, but have seen folks come out of the orange tents, I suspect 10 or 12 bottles. Road pizza, anyone? |
