Stay indoors and be safe.

You're interpreting the colour scale backwards. I hope you weren't hyperventilating out of fear in the 'dreaded blue zone'. Just click on 'English'.

Is there anyway to get Hwangsa forecasts? How do they do these warnings?

Officials predict stronger yellow sand storms this year - especially in April - due to a winter draught in Mongolia...http://www.stripesonline.com/article.asp?section=104&article=42601&archive=true

The yellow sand/dust levels can be seen here: http://www.seoul.amedd.army.mil/sites/yellowsand/default.asp

They're not bad now - and haven't been bad this week (but people with asthma would probably suffer at even low levels...)

Rain is good. Rain will remove aerosols and pollutants from the air and out that crap back on the ground where it belongs.

Yep.

Rteacher, on the army site that shows the yellow dust levels, are any of those bases near Busan?

I hate the yellow dust. I can't tell if I'm getting sick or if its because of the dust.

Usually I find the dust makes me more sick this time of year here... I've been sick for pretty much two months straight now. Mostly sore throat/ stuffy nose/coughing. My humidifier helps a lot at night, except when there's a duststorm blowing in. Boo yellow dust!
