Anyone order and build their own computer in Daegu? I could use some help with component selection and construction. I have beer.

First, please answer the following questions:

1. What do you want to do with the computer? Gaming? Surfing, Word? Video editing/Photoshop work?

2. Budget?

3. I don't drink beer. Do you have a nice dark roasted coffee? Wink

4. Do you want to order from Yongsan in Seoul?

It will be a multimedia computer for all the functions you listed. Im set on the cpu and video card listed below, I just need compatible components to compliment them. I dont plan on overclocking immediately, but it should be an option for down the road when the system ages. Money isnt an object, but I do like bang-for-the-buck in the higher quality range.

CPU: Intel EE660
GPU: Asus/XFX/Gigabyte? 8800 GTS 640
MB: Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus or something of equal quality in a non-SLI format
HD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB
Power: No idea
Ram: no idea
LCD Monitor: no idea
Other?

Yeah, that CPU has gone down in price by nearly 50 000won in the last month. It's now very affordable.

But, isn't Intel expected to release something quite big pretty soon, which will drive the price of the Duo even further down? How soon, I don't know. It might not be worth the wait for you.
