BEIJING, China (AP) --

"....The child (aged 9), surnamed Liu, disappeared Friday after Liu and three other children climbed over the fence around a pool in the park that had been used to stage crocodile shows, Xinhua said.

"The children shot the animals with catapults and beat them with wooden sticks," the agency said. "One of the irritated crocodiles bit Liu's clothes and dragged him into water, where he was eaten by a swarm of crocodiles."

Do you mean "Why you shouldn't beat dangerous animals"?

There's nothing wrong with beating baby seals and kittens.

Those kids deserved to die for their stupidity. Sad, but true.

Maybe I've got a particularly regressed primordial brain, but I have a VERY developed fear and loathing of prehistoric lizards that like to creep up on people and eat them.

Don't get me wrong, I respect and desire bio-diversity and extend that for pretty much any creature on this earth, but really, what do crocs do for us? Nuttin' for nobody. Kill 'em all I say, and komodo dragons too. Those kids had the right idea, and I expect every one of those killer crocs to be made into handbags by the end of the week.

Aren't most 9 year olds sadistic? I'm pretty sure I tortured some form of life at that age.

Shouldn't this thread be titled, "Why wild animals shouldn't be kept in captivity where stupid kids can get to them"?

I am 100% all for people being attacked by wild animals. If you get close enough to a wild animal for it to attack you then you deserve to be chewed up and removed from the gene pool.

Beating up on wild animals? Well, thats just silly and sweet, sweet justice was served. I take no greater pleasure than hearing that the animals got one back. Kinda like this one, but I wish the panda had gotten more than this moron's jacket:
