|

I have a friend of mine. His mother was born in Korea. His father is American. He was born in America.
Is he eligible for an F4?
He is currently under contract at a hagwon with an E2, but isn't happy with the situation. If he is eligible, would that be an effecting factor? |

Yes, he is eligible for the F-4. You can go as far back as one grandparent, if you can prove it. He will need to get the documentation for his mother and denounce her Korean citizenship, if she has yet to do so. |

Yep, he's eligible. I'm a half Korean too. My school liked that they didn't have to pay for a visa run. If your friend gets his visa, at least then he can leave the school. |
