I want to buy a 4-track, and would like to find a place with quite a few options. |

Ced you can definitely find one at Nagwon (near Insadong - walk down the street and it's off to a side street near a Coffee Bean). Nagwon is the big music gear building that has a hundred shops in it.
But if you have Korean friends, use mnshome.co.kr - you can get used stuff on there on the cheapo. I just rocked some powered Event monitors. |

For the most options you need to go to Hakwon as described above. |

Thanks very much guys. I'll be busy on Sunday then.
My hagwon have drums and a piano. Awesome. Some funky 4-track beats soon to emerge from the depths of Anyang. |

What subway stop is it? I can't find an "Insadong", or "Hakwon".

Anguk station on the orange #3 line is yr best bet - one of the exits is labeled "Insadong" and comes out in front of a police station. Go around the corner and you'll see a "quaint" street full of Korean knicknacks & stuff (and Crown Bakery). You can easily ask someone "Nagwon Odee-ayo?" or just walk down the street looking down each real street to the left until you see a Coffee Bean. When you find the Coffee Bean, past it is a big building with stairs going up, go up to the second floor and start looking for a 4 track. They can definitely be found, but it may take some searching. I'm pretty sure you can just start asking people for one, dudes there speak music-gear-English very well. |

i actually find it easier when i get off at the jogno-3-ga stop on line 3,
get out at exit #3,
then walk straight ahead until you find an odd looking building that overpasses a street. you'll know what i mean when you see it.
the second floor is where you'll find the bargains, but in terms of 4 tracks you might getter a wider selection upstairs on the third floor where there is a large shop on home recording, studio gear etc.
be sure to haggle but not too much.
goodluck! |

Truth. I'd say more than half, actually. |
