This morning there was a thread about a crackdown on people riding motorcycles on the sidewalk. Anyway, the thread disappeared. If whomever posted the article could readd it, I'd appreciate it.

Also there was a pretty funny comment in the thread about clotheslining someone.

about a year ago some delivery dude tried to squeeze in between me and an electrical kiosk. his big aluminum delivery box threatened to slice my gore-tex jacket, so i shoved him. he didn't go down, but he certainly got the point that the sidewalk was for walking.

hey, when in rome. The sidwalk takes about 10 minutes off my daily commute, and I haven't killed anyone yet.

So you put children in danger to save yourself 10 minutes? Great.

A sidewalk is intended for pedestrians = humans walking on two legs (and their pets), motorcycles are supposed to be driven on streets. If anyone who can't distinguish that, then they truly are circus bears on 2 wheels.

My favorite part of this whole phenomenon is that motorcycles ride on the sidewalks, but people on bicycles (not kids) are ALWAYS in the road. I take the bus to work everyday and back and we always about kill some dude on a bike. The best is when they ride their bike in the road while we go through this big tunnel. why, why, why....

Gonna start smacking your gf around, working 12+ hours a day and hating Japan? As long as we're in Rome...
