I'm planning to go to Seoraksan park this weekend, just for a day and a half. If anyone knows what I absolutely shouldn't miss or what I really should bring with me, please let me know. |

bring your camera.
Ulzmabowi is a nice hike but kind of a let down. The cave hike a little farther down is usually less crowded and is more scenic.
The waterfall hike is the worst of the three. Not very challenging and no real great scenery. |

If you decide to hike up one of the tall mountains, leave all your junk behind. All you need is a good pair of shoes. It's hard enough w/o having to lug a pack of useless objects. You can leave your backpack in a locker at the cable-car office for 500 won.
bring your camera, lovely. |

The cable car was closed a couple of weeks ago due to the high winds, so be prepared for that.
I did the cave hike which, took about 4 hours round trip. The first hour isn't too hard, but then it feels like you are literally going straight up for about 30-40 minutes. We took a couple of breaks along the way to catch our breath and enjoy the view, I'm sure you'll have a good time |

Damn, probably too late. I actually live next to Seoraksan... go Hwaamsa. Its a totally cool temple with a huge rock next to it. Not too many ppl know about it. I dont know if you can get there without a car, though... |
