Shabu shabu is outstanding, and if the Japanese had counquered the western world in World War 2 at least we'd have shabu shabu.

If the Chinese eventually take over, we'll have hot pot, which is good too. Especially the Shanghai version with the ying-yang pot.
Actually, in shanghai you can order worms, insects, and other delicacies for your hot pot too. Not that I did, but anyway...

Does anyone know a good shabu shabu place in Anyang? I've never tried it, but my friends tell me I'm missing out.

On your next visa run to Japan, I'd highly recommend going to a real shabu-shabu restaurant. Not that the Korean version isn't bad, just the Japanese stuff is better-although I have had bad Japanese shabu-shabu come to think of it... Anyway, any hot pot, or nabe as the Japanese call it, is pretty darn good. But as a previous post said, I too stay hungry afterwards. Not too filling.
